I just got the same call from the same person. I have delt with her before. A year or so ago same type of scam. She thinks people are stupid I've been scammed so much and she got mad cause I told her do what you have to do she said you want to go to court I said record me so what you have to. Scary thing is some how she had the names and middle initials of my family and called one of then that's right there the first signal of her scam I would never do that. I'm getting sick of it and am going to make a police report this time. How does she sleep at night??
Did not answer, but was left a "threatening" voice mail (addressed to my wife), recorded by one "Kathy Holloway" (regarding a "serious legal issue"), who SLAMMED THE PHONE DOWN ON THE HOOK at the end of the message. NOT a pleasant experience, to say the LEAST....! :-(

Kathy Holloway called my stepson and my husband talking about a complaint from the county I live in and saying that I need to call her back and give a statement. I would not give my husband's number and certainly not my stepson's phone number (both are cells). I just discovered a message from her on my phone. Same exact message as on the other phones. I figured it had to be a scam of some kind. So glad others have reported the same thing and I found it online. She really makes it sound like if I don't call it will be a major issue, maybe even lockup. Though she doesn't say that. These people are vultures. I don't even know what debt it could be.
Report the call to the state attorney general's office. There appear to be quite a few vulture debt collectors in the Atlanta Area.
Nothing in writing that is mailed = NOTHING!!
