Caller identified as B***** claimed I'd won $1000 food package and offered a plan for New Yorker, Smithsonian,Time and several minor mags. Foolishly gave credit card number in return they promised to send a packet explaining magazine offer and "prize".Several subsequent calls to "p*******resulted in nothing. I explained that most of the mags were already subscribed to and they reassured that they would pick up after current subscription ran out.They have billed twice for ~$180 with no packet or explanation.i will SHUT DOWN THEIR ACCESS. I NOW BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE A SCAM..
Call came in Sat. at 2;15. Said name was Bryan Shaw, please write it down and gave phone #. Said calling for a prize I won from Publishers Clearing House. To collect they will send a copy of Readers Digest free for 1st. month. Then I have to agree to get a prescription and the y will send a package with my winnings.
This is the same spill that the scammers are using for many things.
I am tired of them all.
They Claim to be publishers clearing house and ask for my credit card number to claim my prize, I don't trust them because they ask for my credit card number.
