A woman called claiming to be with "AA Duct Cleaning" service. The caller ID showed "Dir Assist GA". Anyone doing this is up to no good in my opinion. I do not believe this could possibly be a legitimate business. Beware!!
I called this number back and it gave recording about logging into a pre-paid account. If this woman should call you, simply tell her that you are a police officer cleaning your shotgun at the moment and ask if you can call her back at this number in 10 minutes.
Called twice today -- I am in Atlanta -- and it said Dir Asst Ga -- called number back and it said number was not in service.... obviously a SCAM -- any time you call a number back and it does not work IS A SCAM ! ...... Put them on block, so won't have any more issues with them..... .
Received call today from (404) 555-2525, and it seems like for HVac company. The guys was so nice at the beginning and explain this and that. I told him I don't live there any more, then he asked my current address so he can update the system. I told him that "I am sorry but I don't need the service right now, but I will let you know if I need it". I haven't finish my sentence he hung up without a word. Rude!!
