Turn off the machine and let it ring or try blocking the number. As long as they get an answering machine, they're likely to keep bugging you. They get nothing, after a while they give up on numbers that have no answer.
The lady knew my name and told that was from General Electric and wanted to know if I had alarm system for more than 3 years and wanted to offer me a free upgrade of my system and I told her that I have service from ADTand if I wanted upgrade it would be with them and I hung up and blocked her number.
Same story, sounded like the call was from the Philippines, GE, alarm system, I interrupted her to let her know that she was violating DNC and being reported at which time she immediately ended the call...
