Automated system claiming to be Tom from the Diabetes Support Center. Wants to know how I was doing today.  Stored # as Spam and gave it a silent ringtone.

It's 2016. Every phone has a block feature that does what you are doing manually here.

Actually they don't.  Mine doesn't.  I had to download a free call blocking app.  The phone i had before didn't, I had to do what that other person does.  Many landline phones don't have that feature as well.
