a lady in a very southern accent told me there had been a returned item from my bank. I asked her to send out validation of the debt. She stammered and said she would transfer me over to her case manager. Put me on hold, and I hung up.
Mrs Alexander she calls herself and is the only person that answers her phone called my cell and my work to say I owe money for a payday loan. I tried to get more information out of her and she got really rude and said it would have an immediate impact on my financial situation. She is obviously a scammer and trying to intimidate people into giving her your account info without proof of debt.
These people have been calling me since September about an outstanding Payday loan which I have written proof was settled years ago. A woman named Ms.McMillan is threatening and warns me I will be taken to court if I do not pay. I asked her to send written proof of this debt, but she keeps telling me she already has. Of course I have not received anything. I asked for more information and the address of her company, but she put me on hold and never came back on. If you call there is usually no answer or Ms. McMillan herself will pick up. The companies name takes you to a fake website - Mid Southeastern and Associates. This website has nothing to do with debt collection, but is a very vague profile of services rendered. They claim to have a new name - CRM. These people are scammers and need to be stopped!!!
