They call at 1:40PM each afternoon and when I answer there is nothing? Quit calling if you are not going to answer when the consumer actually answers the phone!

Same as AKA & the others. Approximately 1:40 pm (1:38, in this case), I received a call & a message was left. The voicemail identifies the caller as Delanore, Kemper & Associates. The whole deal is definitely automated & the same 866 call back number as AKA is left.
FYI, they have also previously called from (347)329-4611.
First of all always dispute the debt.....in writing...generally write on the notice sent to you that you want verification of this debt (they have 30 days to respond) keep a copy of your request dated & make sure it is sent either registered or first class mail..once you dispute it is illegal for a collector to contact you until the debt has been verified.
Second it is illegal for any collector to contact you before 8 am and after 9 pm
Third they cant call you everyday
Forth all collection agencies are required to record all conversations...also they must tell you that they are collecting a debt and any and all information received from you will be used for collection purposes
This is the 4th time I have received a phone call from them at various times in the afternoon. The first time they called and politely called back and they were looking for someone that was not at this number. I explained I had recently gotten this new phone number and asked if they would remove my number from their listing. Calls still haven't stopped and when I just received another call from them and called back. I immediatly asked to speak to a supervisor and the (would call him gentleman if he actually was one) guy said in regards too? and I explained about getting my number removed, HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!! I called back three more times got disconnected and then put on "HOLD" again for EVER.. I am blocking their number...this is BS though...seriously!!!
