Called home phone today -- left no message -- says 'out of area', but I am also in 404, so a 'legitimate' call would not show out of area -- Soooo..... it is obviously a SCAM -- Beware Thieves, Criminals and others...now B L O C K E D -- As others have stated, any legitimate person, company or other business WILL leave a message -- the thieves and scammers do not -- I block ALL calls that call more than oned and do not leave a message..... suggest others do the same....
Also got a call from this number -- called it back and it imediately goes into voicemail, with a woman's automated voice, 'please leave a message after the beep'.....and then a male voice says "Billy Kirkland" .... not sure who Billy is or why he is calling but he did not leave a message, so I assume he's trying to sell me something I don't want or need, or he's some other sort of shyster.....
The number deserves to be put on the spam list just for the fact they use the "out of area" ID. The 666 exchange looks like someone's bad joke even if it is legit. If you do a search for 404 666 you will see most all of the first page of results' entries somehow refer to telemarketing complaints or call centers.
