This number is associated with a dangerous scam. It is reported as follows:
I received an e-mail yesterday about what sounds to me to be a real dangerous scam. The report sent to me read -
"I just received a phone call from a woman who 'wanted to ask me some questions and compensate me for my time, not ask for a donation'. She asked how many children under 4 were in my house, then told me someone would be by later this week with a $10 Kroger or Publix gift card. She then asked 'would I be at home?' She knew my address so I told her that there was always an adult in the house, it just might not be me. No scheduled delivery day or time, no real survey - very fishy."
I just received a call from 404-671-9597 and whoever was on the other end just held the phone. I checked my caller I.D on one of my other phones and that same number is in ther 3 other times. The person never left a message. Very creepy.
i too received a call from 404-671-9597 and they asked bout the number of childern in my house under the age of 11. i declined to answer the question about how many kids are in my house. the caller then asked if i the address, she called out the address, was the right address. i told her that it was, eventhough it was not. she asked what would be a good time to come by to fill out the survey. i told her that i would be home @ all day so. she said that someone would come by w/ a $10 kroger gift card. what threw me off was when they asked how many kids under the age of 11
