Leaves a message on my phone stating," You are being investigated and to call to respond to the charges". They never give of whose being investigated. They have no idea who they are calling. Feels like scam artist to me.
WONT GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THEM. THEY SAY I HAVE A DEBT THAT HAS BEEN PAYED SINCE 2010. THE DEBT BELONGED TO A COMPANY THAT WAS BOUGHT OUT BY A LARGER BANK BUT THEY HAD NO IDEA OF THAT AND WHEN I STARTED TO QUIZ THEM SINCE IT WAS PUBLICIZED ON TV AND EVERYONE NEW ABOUT IT THEY WOULD KNOW THAT THE BANK WAS NOT AROUND ANYMORE. WELL THE GUY GOT VERY ANGRY AND HUNG UP ON ME WHICH LEFT ME VERY HAPPY
Telling us my son(he's 20 now) took out a payday loan that he is now refusing to pay. He was 17 when the loan was supposed to have been taken out. Then when he hands me the phone they start throwing the word "fraud" out at us. The loan was for 300, the fees are 300 something and the "attorney" fees are 700 something but they will settle for 350 if paid immediately....guessing over the phone.
