I just got a call from this number asking for a person who does not live here and when I told her she had the wrong number,she claimed that she was someone from an anti-abortion group. I told her that there were too many phone scams going around on the phones and that I cannot trust anyone to give out information to.She insisted on asking me question such as: ""Are you pro-life or non pro-life. I had then told her that I thought this was a scam and not to ever call here again and then hung up. I feel so bad for anybody who falls victim to any kind of scam. We live in a day and age where people/groups will try ANYTHING to get your personal information and money. PLEASE BE AWARE OF ALL YOUR SURROUNDINGS AND WHAT YOU DO IN YOUR EVERYDAY LIFE TO GUARD YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot stress that enough!!
Called and asked for ____ with an odd pause, as if reading from screen. Asked who was calling, said- oh' do you live there too? Hung up.
Called back a few days later. Same person same deal. This time, said calling from Pro Life Committee and asked if I was pro life, pro choice, or undecided.
The list is updated every 31 days. Give it time but don't expect it to stop all of your unwanted calls. Go to DNC site and read so you will not be expecting what the DNC was not created to do.
