A collection agency for Aspire Visa - looking for someone who doesn't live with me.  Refused to leave company name or reason for calling on my answer machine - just said 'extremely urgent that XXX call us back or there will be negative consequences'.  I had to drag the name of the company out of them when I called them back and threatened to sue them.

I am one of many unfortunate souls who signed up for a credit card with these crooks. They will promise and tell you ANYTHING, to get your money. After being told that "because of my excellent payment record", my yearly fee was being reduced from $100.00 to $50.00, they billed me for $100.00 anyway!

Liars.

Thanks, President Bush, for the tax rebate. I plan on using it exclusively to pay off these EXTORTIONISTS and CLOSE my account!

I have now received several calls from this phone # for my next door neighbor. I have given her the information, and apparently she has ignored it. They have requested information on my neighbor, and insist that my dsl/land line phone # is what they pulled up on a web site for my neighbor's address. They gave me the landline #404-736-7011 and toll free 877-742-8881.

I am a consumer law attorney and, in anticipation of litigation, I am currently investigating the collection techniques of the company that collects for Aspire.  I am seeking information on this company and how they have treated consumers.  If you hear from them, please save any voice mails they leave and any letters that they send.  Thank you.
