The call is from a company called CompuCredit. They service a number of credit card companies for delinquent accounts. Check to see if you are late on one of your credit cards. Chances are that is why they are calling. They never leave a message.
also do a google search on compucredit and their wholly-owned debt collection firm, jefferson captial systems, llc...the federal trade commission would like to hear from you about these scumbags then find a lawyer in your area that specializes in consumer protection specifically one that brings actions in federal court for violations of the fair debt collection practices act (fdcpa)and sue these companies. file complaints with the ftc and your state attorney generals office you can do both online by using google
