Man with middle eastern accent called said he was from microsoft and that my computer we showing error messages. This jerk conned me out of $ 99.99 dollars took over my computer for 5 hours but nothing got fixed. I'm sure I won't be able to recover my money. Very expensive lesson.!!!!!!
Just got a call from this number, a man with a middle eastern accent was on the line saying something about my computer, when I said I don't have one, he told me "don't get smart with me, f**k off!" Then hung up on me. Calling the FCC
This call was made by an Automated-calling machine (Computer generated). The male, with an Indian accent, only came on the phone after I said hello. He advised he was calling from "Tech Support," What!?. He again said he was calling from Tech support, about the error that showed up on my computer and I needed to get the trouble fixed before 15 days.
When I asked who he calling for, he became silent but I could hear a lot of talking & office noise in the background. He replied, "I'm calling for you; do you have a computer?." When I advised that I did not call for any tech support and that he should know he is calling. He hung up.
Sounds like a scam.
