got this call from this number on my house number, did verify that it is a sprint phone number, however no other information would be released. My guess would be its a scam or a way of getting your information for fraudulent reasons.

I get over 50 calls a month from all sorts of scammers and or telemarketers. About 6 months ago I bought a 'Privacy Call Center' from 'http://www.digitone.com/' and it's incredible. You can list all your friends and loved ones numbers and even a specific area code and prefix's to allow, and they will ring and pass thru unobstructed. All others will be asked to enter an extension number of the party they want to speak to, and then will be disconnected. It catches every single unwanted call. I've had months of peace and quiet. Our number ends in a 0001 and it's obviously a big hit with these bottom feeders. I don't work for digitone and this is strictly an unsolicited testimonial. Good luck!
I received a call today, but it only rang one time. I checked the # through yellowpages.com which said it was Norcross, GA. I know someone there so I tried to return the call twice from the number in my machine, no way to make a mistake. 1st time it said I dialed the number wrong, then it was unavailable. This is what I think. I think they're phishing...verifying live numbers, then trying to get more info to sell. I think they are generating the messages; incoming calls just roll over to an answering machine. Has anyone reported this to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation?
