to  be clear - their reason was to verify employment but I can see no reason why anyone would need to do that.

They called me at home and wanted my HR number to verify information.  She would not say where she was from.

I got the same call as everyone else.  A female left a voicemail to verify employment.  I am the only owner of my company and have not applied for anything that would require a verification of employment.  Very strange.

person called looking for another Sylvia.  got upset with me and saying it was me

Called to verify information they're crooks so don't give them any information on anyone who works for the company be careful they are scammers  rnn verification is a fraud
