I haven't paid attention to the last 7 digits, but I have been receiving calls from a 404 number for the last 2 months. The first time I answered the guy on the other line sounded apologetic, and I couldn't quite make out who he was asking for, although he did say (whimpishly) 'this is Joe, who's this?' I told him I knew no Joe's and that he had the wrong number. The calls continued and I would just silence my phone. No voicemails. Then they started coming back to back if I didn't answer a first time, or even 3 in a row, until finally I've picked up my phone and said things such as, 'I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE, STOP CALLING ME' and 'YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER!!!' I answered late one afternoon, fed up with all the calls, and it was the same sheepish Joe, asking for a name I could hardly make out. In my kindergarden teacher voice I, as politely as possible, tried to explain to Joe that he had the wrong number, and I've told him several times he has the wrong number, and that he needed to wrap his little brain around the idea of STOPPING THE CALLS!!! No calls for about a week or two, then yesterday, in the middle of Duane Reade, my phone rings, 404-839-8933, and I have an outburst in the feminine product aisle, 'STOP CALLING ME!!!!!!!!!!!' I want to know who has my number and how? Are these [***] tele-marketers or what?
