Report these to the FTC(Federal Trade Comission) The phone companies rarely do anything with the information, but the FTC can shut down the phone numbers.
computerized voice telling me my account had been opened by someone else. told me to push 1 to reactivate my account, i hung up and tried redialing to a repeated busy signal.
Just got computerized voice telling me my account had been accessed by someone. Told me to push 1 to reactivate account. Stupidly pressed 1 to see what this was about and they asked to put in account number. I hung up.
404-845-3027 called at 1:02AM. Didn't answer but message left was my atm card was suspended because someone unauthorized used it. There was no company name nor phone number to call back. I called my bank & was told they hadn't called & my account was fine. Per my caller id it was Beacon Electronics. I will contact the FTC.
I did get a phone call at 3h33 am this morning. I don't know if they thought that getting me when I'm asleep would make me do stupid things! Just hung up and went back to sleep! :)
