I answered my cell phone identifying myself - my primary care Dr had just put in for appointments for me with different new specialists - I was expecting calls to set up times - I usually never answer calls without a positive ID, most welcomed calls are already in my contact list and identify who is calling - since new Drs. were to be calling I picked up - easier than waiting for a voice mail and calling back - my work phones ring off the hook so every second counts with personal calls - after identifying myself the person said, "Oh excuse me, I was having trouble with my headset - we've seen that you have stayed in our resort in the past and ...." I have never stayed in a resort so hung up and put the number in the auto-block list. I usually plug any unknown number in 800Notes prior to answering and auto block after 90% of them are junk calls - this is what happens when I deviate from my routines - sorry for the diatribe but am hoping this saves someone from being annoyed - Thanks. Robo call that sounds like a cute and friendly girl. "Oh excuse me, I was having trouble with my headset - we've seen that you have stayed in our resort in the past and ...." I hung up without hearing the rest of it, since I've never been to a resort.
