This number has called me at least twice recently but CALLER ID just says "OUT OF AREA" (although its local) and there are no other posts for this number at this website so I don't know who this is. As I mentioned, it is a local number (Atlanta and metro area) for me but as they never leave a message I am guessing its some kind of telemarketer or scammer.
The number is very familiar, so I am sure I have received similar calls in the past.
I have similar experiences as those above. Has called several times, but never leaves a message. I'd answer once just to find out who it is, but they never call when I'm here.
I thought I had these people blocked, but I just received 3 more calls on three different days from them.
On one call, they left a recording of the entire Willie Nelson song "My heroes have always been Cowboys."
I know this sounds paranoid, BUT.... I recently purchase a "Best of Willie Nelson CD" from Walmart and have been playing a lot (including this song) around the time they left this recorded message of this song.
I mean, I know its likely just coincidence, but they have NEVER left any kind of message on my answering machine before, and this was the complete song with no other comments or messages. Makes you feel like they are stalking you or have your car (with CD player) bugged.
Sometimes when you think they are "out to get you"... they really are! (Step out of line, they come and take you away!)
