Someone called to scam me to say that I had won $ in a contest.

Did you talk to a man and a woman and did they say they were from an attorney office

happened to me too... i have entered a few contests for money though... was it not legit?

They called and said they were attorneys for the sweepstakes company.  They ask way too many questions that did not have anything to do with winning. Ask financial and person questions;  Don't be surprised if someone doesn't show up at your door trying to get you to sign a power of attorney so they can take all your money.
