Scam! They keep calling trying to get my wife on to sell her coupons. They are East Indians who do not follow our Better Business laws. I am resentful of their rudeness and comments they have left elsewhere on the web defending themselves. They think Americans are all wealthy and don't understand that some of their extra charges prevent people from having grocery money. Block them!
Calls started at least once a day about a week ago. They leave no message, and they don't talk when I do (rarely) pick up the phone. Yesterday, we had silent air time between us for 2 minutes as I refused to hang up and sat silently waiting for them to hang up. This is why we rarely answer our landline anymore; telemarketers being ignorant, and debt collectors (we don't have any outstanding debt so don't think that is this caller's purpose) practicing harrassment.
Where is the government legislation to protect our rights to privacy and peace in our own homes?
