They are calling several times a day. NO one answers. They call back within an hour. I can get no info on the caller. I have spoken with the Republican party earlier this week. I suspect this is related since the primary is coming up and the calls just started.
These people are real slime. If you have the block calls by number feature on your phone, the first time these people call that beep you hear is them tuning off your call blocking. I turned my call block back on and added their number.
Have received five calls in two days from "unassigned 404-891-5030," and they never leave message on answering machine. Just a heads up to others: I have been told that if you ever pick up, they will recognize that your number is a valid one and will be even more persistent in their calls. I NEVER pick up if I don't recognize the number on caller i.d., and after a matter of days, the calls eventually stop (from that particular number, anyway).
Called asking for my daughter by name. I asked to what it was referring. He asked if my daughter was available. I said it depended as to what it was about. He said his name was Sam and it was a courtesy call. She did not know a Sam and he refused further information. I hung up.
I have received 4 calls from this "unassigned" number in the last two hours. The second time, I was curious, so I picked up. I heard two short beeps and then nothing. I called back and got a recorded message--with no company name--just saying that you could press "1" to be added to the do not call list and "2" to leave a message.
