WHO IS THIS THEY CALLED ME DURING CLASS!!! i had to wait till the end of the day to get my phone back and it had to be on the one day i forget to turn it on silent
I received an automated, pre-recorded call from this number this morning about reducing credit card debt. I pressed "1" to speak to the operator and (assuming she was telling the truth) she said that she was calling on behalf of a company called Consumer Debt Advocate in Florida. It's most likely a scam and this company will likely operate under a different name and number in a matter of months.
Here's a great article on someone who has "played along" with the callers using this number to get more information. The callers are not actually affiliated with "Consumer Debt Advocate" (a law firm in California) but with "Vortex Debt Group" (a company with a very shady history).
