Called left no message. Yesterday I received a call like this one, my ringer makes a different sound for either long distance or telemarketers (I'm not sure which is true) anyhow this fricken new way of invading my home is annoying-er than all the others, let me explain: it rings through my voice mail, ie)my voice mail doesn't stop the rings! I can't believe this is even legal! It happened yesterday with a number with the area code 709.
Here was the number from that other call: 1 709 368 6516
The strange thing about the one above is that it came up with a guys name on it! I don't know anyone from there and even if I did they wouldn't know how to route through my message machine and keep the ring going. I don't know if it's clear what happened for both these calls but I thought I'd report it in case someone else is really annoyed/creeped out by this new tactic.
I called the number back and it said it was a number for special subscribers only and if I wanted to unsubscribe a number to enter it and allow 7 business days for cancellation.
