Rec'd a call from 404-891-5899. No message left. I called the number back and reached a Jamie Navarro. He said he was from Hallstead Financial Services. He said they are collecting on a debt from their client National Credit Adjustors, who are collecting on debt from Rise Credit. That there is a balance of $3000. So I asked for the documents to be sent to me. Then he gave a song and dance about he can email them, because by the time I got them in the mail they may not have this case anymore. Wouldn't I like to have a paid in full letter first. I told him since I have had my been a victim of identity theft a couple of times, I need the documents to give them to my attorney. He asked if I was filing bankruptsy...I told him no, but all calls and documents that request money from me go to my attorney first. He said have a nice day and hung up....sounds like fraud to me....
Received a call and they say they are from AIR Recovery and start asking for personal information like address and social. When I asked who they were representing, they would not tell me until I gave them personal information. Sounded shady to me
