This is truly a frequent caller. I blocked them months ago, but for some reason, unlike every other number i have blocked with my excellent phone-blocker, this one manages to get through...every time! And I blocked them by exactly the name and number that appear on my caller i.d.Hmmmm
I agree. They do good things. But as the post below suggest, they do one bad thing: they pass on your phone number to other agencies (who probably also do good things). I don't want to be solicited for money, even by people who are doing things I respect, in the privacy of my home. Because of that I make it a principle to never contribute to any entity that calls my house.
Been pestering me with multiple robocalls a day. This time, I got through to the fund raiser's mailbox and left my phone number saying I would never give Planned Parenthood another dime if they continued to call. According to the voice mail, it will take 24 hours to remove me.
Planned Parenthood is an otherwise exemplary organization, but then there are so many exemplary orgs that compete for my meager dollars and none of them robocall me.
Three days in a row. When I called them, I received a recording that I couldn't make out what name they gave but it was only in Letters like ABC customer service but followed by a recording that said, "If you want to be removed from our list, leave a message with your phone number". I left my number with a nice, "PLEASE don't call again". We will see!
this is some kind a BS prank call with spoofed "PLANNED PARENTHOOD" caller ID.
No one is on the line when you pick up and if you call back you don't get anyone, just a recording saying "this is SP&A Quality Assurance" or something.
