I just received this call on my cell phone. I did not pick up, but I called it back and got an automated message. I do not remember the exact name, but it is something like "WCA Subscription Services." The automated message said I was pre-selected for two $25 Walmart cards, or something like that. After the moderately long message, it gives you the option to press "1" to speak to a representative about redeeming the offer, or to press "2" to cancel. Once I pressed "2," I heard a lengthy message telling me about all the benefits, and then I was asked if I still wanted to cancel, at which point I pressed whatever number they told me to press to cancel and stop receiving these calls. Once I did that, the automated message said my request was received and asked that I give them 7 business days to process the request.
I received this phone call as well about one hour and a half on 01/04/2011. I did not pick up. I have getting a lot of these calls lately which I never did in the past. What can be done?
