Called my cell phone and told me it was in reference to a job I applied for. Person had a very thick foreign accent that was hard to understand. I did not answer the number because I did not know who it was. I let the call go to voice mail. It almost sounded like a recorded message.
What good is a "no call list?"
404-902-5689: WTH! Don't call me at work! This is unbelievable....Called 17 times in two days...trying to sell security systems? Please! I already have one!
A robot call saying his name was Jason with General Electric Security Systems. Then the voice said, Can you hear me know? then hungup. I'm sure it's a scam - do not call back!
march 2015. This number called my home. This is an unwanted call from a home security business.
During the past month, I've received numerous calls from home security businesses.
I have been getting these calls from some sort of home security company rep. Blocked them from my cell but still get them at the office from time to time. Scam.
Another call to my official duty Blackberry cell phone.
Getting multiple calls each day but no message, just hangups.
This is interfering with getting work to help the public. I call the number back in case there is someone in need, but can never get a human being to pick up.
Since this is an ATT-provided Blackberry phone to a component of the Department of Health and Human Services, ATT will, reportedly not provide the option of blocking any calls (includes spam calls from announcing how the "FBI reports a home break in every...", "You've won a cruise, etc."). My personal iPhone does allow me to block numbers, and our communications people tell me that, if I switch to a Verizon BBerry, that Verizon, unlike ATT, will allow numbers to be blocked.
Can someone at ATT help change the policy, and the FCC work to seize the assets of those spam-calling those who work with EMS, public health departments, etc?
Thank you in advance.
