I received a phone call from this company today. A lady called saying I was being investigated and that I should speak with her supervisor. I told her investigators don't normally call, they just show up at your door step, and I hung up. I called the number back and the vm came on stating "Lisa Jones from Investigation"
Received a call from this number today that was so garbled I could barely understand what the woman was saying. From what I could gather this woman claimed to be from "the state investigators office regarding a matter that was being prosecuted and she needed to get my statement about this matter." I was able to hear background noises that sounded like a phone bank complete with ringing phones as other conversations were going on in the background. The whole situation just screams "scam."
I continuously get collection calls for a Kelly merritt on my cell phone. she used to live at my address prior to me buying the house in 2004!! somehow my Verizon number is linked to this crap. 2814047467 and 5154487001 and this number too! two of the numbers stated they were department of investigations and would remove me from their list, however earlier this year it wasn't done until after they threatened to send a sherriff to my address for a warrant for Kelly merritt! today I received two calls. so disgusted with them all. they refused to give any information address or company name other than investigations
