I got the same call from Mr lackey giving me 48hours to respond to the call or they will take legal action and turn it in to the police department in my area.its for check fraud i dont right checks .i wish the harrassing calls will stop.he also called my Stepfather stating on the message he needed my ss# and drivers license#. This needs to stop.
Mr Lackey has been calling me too - I called back, got his voice mail and gave him an earful, swearing in paragraph form. He called me back and told me I needed to wash my mouth out with soap and again threatening me with legal action for depository check fraud - when I called back again and threatened counter suit under the fair dept collection practices act he stopped calling - now another company is calling for the same alleged debt - They never do sue you because they have no proof of funds owed.

Got the same sort of message from Mr. Lackey on my cell phone today for my son claiming Depository Check Fraud, and a need for a call back within 48 hrs, or the case would be turned over to the county for prosecution. What a scam. Glad I was able to look up this post. Thanks....
Ms. Jones keeps calling me telling me she is going to have me prosecuted for "depository fraud" . Gives a bogus court case # which I checked the local court system they have no cases against me or anything with that number assigned to it.
These people are relentless.
