Also got a call from this number from a male stating he was a private investigater stating that I owed money to a payday loan place and they were putting a case for check fraud. I didn't remember getting a loan from the company he stated and the dates he gave me didn't sound correct either, he told me that it was an online payday loan so I went into my old email and found the payday loan he claim I got a loan from. I did apply for a loan with this company the dates the man gave me was not the dates I applied for the loan and I remembered being turned down for the loan with that company so I called the company and there automated system informed me that they were unable to process my last loan application and I should have received a letter in the mail regarding my application and I must wait 90 days before applying again. The company I applied for the loan with was a subcontracted company under a larger loan corporation; I called the larger corportation and spoke with a woman who informed that the company I had applied for the loan was no longer under their umbrella. I explained to her about the phone call I received from the investagater. She told me this, for one it's a payday loan I can not go to jail for it also its not they would not use the term Check Fraud because it's not check fraud. I didn't write a check! She said Yes a payday loan company can take you to court and get your wages garnished and that's about it. Otherwise, she stated that it sounded like a scam and she told to google the number and seek other reveiws and comments about this number so here I am and I'm leaving this comment I hope that this will help the next person because Paul (person before me who left a similar comment) and the Loan company woman whom I spoke with helped me. I asked him what bank the check was from and he stated he didn't now. The payday place he siad I've never herd of, so I tould Him I wasn't going to talk to him and hung up the phone he also has called my cell 3 times today.
