Called looking for a relative who nobody has seen in over 20 years. She said she was with the fraud division and they needed to schedule service on her. No claim to be with any agency or law enforcement. Told her I had never met her and she said she would remove our numbers from her data base.
I got a call from this unknown entity, from Miss Smith. She only left a message, saying that I have a case against me for fraud, with a case number. Probably a scam-it's not a surprise that they are calling just as Christmas is around the corner, right? For the record, I do not owe anyone anything!!! btw, I tried calling, and the person that answered did not even identify the company name- only "fraud division, how may I help you?"
Left message saying a relative is bein investigated for fraud, didnt even have name of relative correct...also calling family members. Returned call and got voicemail
