This 404-941-8599 is the number that SKYPE uses for SKYPE mobile . So if someone who uses SKYPE mobile calls you it will ID as 404-941-8599.

This phone number showed up on my cell phone call log today, indicating that "I" had actually called this number yesterday around 4:00 p.m..  I've never seen the number before and knew I had not called it.  When I tried the number today to detect the source, a recording said it is a non-working number.  What's up with that?

It is the number from Verizon Wireless/Skype's switch that allows a person to call anyone using Skype.

Basically it is a GENERIC NUMBER OF A COMPUTER SWITCH and the caller can be ANY MILLION OF SKYPE SOFTWARE USERS!

It is listed as an 83 year old ladies telephone number in Mabelton Georgia too. Go figure.
