Got a voice mail on office, home and work phone. Caller trying to disguise voice, foreign, talks slow and drawn out. Said she was Officer Ashley with the United States Federal Crime Div. That my name and SS# had been associated with crime scene and needed to call her back immediately. The internet shows the phone # is in Stone Mountain with Comcast and the address is 1364 Cedar Keys Ct., Stone Mountain Georgia according to longitude and latitude. The house is showing for sale on the internet so there is no telling what is going on. These people prey on people, they want you to send them money usually and will tell you this will keep the crime out of courts. That is bull!!!!. I have already reported them in several places on the internet today.. If they call again I will get our local police dept. to fill out a report. I would not call them back because you will get so angry. You can also hear other telemarketers in the background talking to other people. Call came in around (2) hours ago.

These people are complete frauds! Do not tell them anything, let them know that they do not intimidate you, and also tell them that you are reporting them to the authorities. Do not give out any information or even confirm information that they may have. The best thing to do is 1) Block their number- they can't talk to you if they can't get a hold of you. 2) Make sure to report any type of conversations you may have with them on websites like these. As soon as I get an unknown number I google it trying to find out who is calling me and why. and 3) Tell them in a strong firm voice to stop calling this number and take any and all information off of their list. Also let them know that you are calling the police right then and you need their company name, their information, phone number, location, etc. You'll see how fast they hang up or try and threaten you. These people are scum and they thrive off of others not knowing what to do in this type of situation.
