Automated collect call from an inmate in Fulton Co. Jail

Returned Call and got "the number you have reached is not in service".

person called from this number stating an emergency from fulton county jail and they needed me to relay a message to a family member at #404 287-8841 and press *72 or #72 first that her mom Tia Lawrence worked at Hartfield jackson airport stated her name was Niece Lawrence

I jsut received the same call from a man who called himself Kian Smith, but his monther has the same name Tia.......How did you stop these scam calls?

Just received a call from this number person used the name Antonio Smith,from Fulton County Jail. "looked on their website and this is really an inmate but probably not the person who called.) Said he needed help trying to get a hold of his mother so his kids who were with him didn't go to family services.  Did the good samaritan thing and called the number before remembering that I heard about this scam.  Looked it up on the internet.  IT IS A SCAM!  About 20 minutes later received the short ring on the phone indicated calls were being forwarded. Per internet did *73 to cancel call forwarding.  And am currently trying to call the police to report this.

I get this cal on my cell phone, when I tried to call the number, it say that the number is not in service. What can I do to get these calls to stop
