Selling wedding dress, the person said they would mail me a check and once it was cleared to send it out. So glad I checked here, I was a little hesitant since it is not a local number!
Im selling my wedding dress and someone sent me a text saying the same thing, that they would send me a check and for me to cash it at my bank
and then send the dress. I'm glad I always check the numbers, I know better.
Same person at 404-981-1769 sent me a text wanting by purchase my wedding dress. It wasn't a local number and I'm not an idiot either. I never reply until I Google the number and I found this person on many sites like this one. When you place an ad, if the person contacting you about buying it isn't local, you can bet it's a scam. My reply to this person was to get a job and work for money and stop trying to scam others out of theirs.
I got a message from a guy that wanted to pay me a check as well. And he was going to pick up my 450 dollar bike later. No date just was working on moving from
Georgia. I told him I'd do it with western union. Then he back out.
