Purported B2B telemarketer representing several flooring materials companies for remodeling contractors. Suspiciously pushy for more personal info when told no longer in business -- hung up on caller.
SCAM, SCAM, SCAM to the 10th Degree! (Nation wide telemarketing scam)
I called the Georgia Insurance Commissioner's Office, which confirmed that "Yodel" is NOT LICENSED in Georgia as an insurance agency, insurance provider, or for insurance products. I also called the Georgia State Bar Association, which confirmed that "Yodel" is NOT LICENSED in GA as a lawyer or law firm. Next, I will call the Georgia Attorneys General office to report "Yodel". I suggest that you do the same in your state.
My experience with the shysters:
The phone number displayed is an Atlanta exchange. The first time they called, they held themselves out to be a "LAW FIRM". The next time they called, the overly exuberant man said he represented the YODEL INSURANCE PRODUCTS property ..... (We are a large insurance company... and I seriously doubt that Yodel Insurance is licensed, in the states they are calling).
After searching "Yodel" on the internet, I found a MASSIVE RAP SHEET Of COMPLAINTS. I also learned that they pretend to be a "MARKETING COMPANY", and many other industries in order to suck information out of their victims, or pump victims with high-pressures sales for shoddy services at outrageous prices.
Despite asking him to put me on their "Do Not Call List", he persisted in asking probing questions about our business.
After telling him 4 times not to call us again, he had the nerve to say "Someone else will call you next week." [!!!]
(Thanks for the warning, .... I'll have my ear-deafening Shriek Alarm waiting by the phone.)
It is scammers like this that remind you just how valuable "Call Block" is! Here are some links to complaints about Yodel:
