This number called me, stated that they could lower my credit card rates (not sure what rates they mean) So I stayed on the line to have myself permanently removed from the calling list. When I asked to removed, the agent hung up on me. Whomever owns this DNIS needs to be prosecuted for non compliance with DNC.
Same here...called but didn't recognize number so no answer (if it isn't even in my same area code, not getting answered basically is the rule I follow) cell phone but no message left. Considering all of the posts have originated this month (February 2012) it looks like it's probably a new scam.
Just a heads up folks that next month I believe is when telemarketers can LEGALLY begin to solicit cell phone numbers (I know like they haven't been doing it anyways). There is a 1-888 number that we can now call to have our cell phones on the Do-Not-Call list BUT you HAVE TO call from the cell phone that you want to be on the list. I had the number written down here somewhere but can't find it at the moment however I am sure if you google it or something you will come across it.
