Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1. Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2. Demand a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good.
3. Do not pay the collection agent or anyone else a dime until the debt is validated
If they are bothering you, report them:

If they continue to bother you, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
I got a call from this number too. The call came in on one of my unlisted numbers that I don't give out so it appeared to be a spam call, and I don't answer them. If it's a legitimate call, they will leave a voice mail and these jokers didn't. A search of the incoming phone number, 405-212-3175, shows it's a VOIP phone line from the Oklahoma City, OK area. The number is now blocked on my phone system!
Just called my cell, i didnt answer and no message was left, called it back and first it was a recording , called back again and a guy answers says Halstead Financial...so blocked this # on my cell cause i dont know any halstead financial places, im in florida this number is out of oklahoma
Got a call from an [***] from Halstead Financial, he was very brutal and screamed at me., I told him I didn't know what he wanted, he said I owed a bill and I said, well mail it to me and he started screaming, we are not going to do that tonight, YOUR GONNA DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT TO DO TONIGHT, who does this [***] thinks he is. He persisted that I was gonna pay him tonight and I said, I don't know you, I don't just pay people because they call me and tell me, then he got really nasty and said, I'm going to mark this as refusal to pay. lol....... He can mark what he want and stick it where he wants.
