Looks like the beginning of this is some kind of automated call center set up & once you play the little answer game with their robot it transfers you to a person. I called the number back and eventually spoke to a guy that said he was a licensed Oklahoma Insurance agent named Alex Workman. He said he was with the Brandan Minks Agency in Oklahoma. Looks like everything checks out on the Oklahoma Insurance Department's website but if you are getting harassed I would call the OID at 405-521-2828 and file a complaint. www.oid.ok.gov
Called and offered to help me save money on car insurance premiums. Asked for my zip code before my name, which I didn't give her. Caller sounded foreign and didn't know how to spell LUCY. I asked for her name and she said "GAB."
Called me and didn't say anything for a good 30 seconds. Finally the man said something (foreign sounding) and started mumbling something about insurance and then asked for my ssn before he even asked for my name. I told him not to call me again and hung up. It sounds like a scam!
Same! he asked me for my account information after speaking very quickly/quietly in a loud room. could barely hear him. I said "uhhh, I'm not giving you that" and he said "okay, goodbye"
I tried to demand him to tell me if he was a scam but he hung up.
