I got a call as well. They already had my information. They said that they hire people for other companies. I think it is a scam because, in the end, they tried selling a lot of work at home "packages" (i.e. instructions). I would put it as a definite fake.
I just got off the phone with these guys, they seem legit, they did ask if I wanted to further my education but I send "not at this time" then we completed the screening questions and she said she was going to send the file of the hiring manager. They didn't try to sell me anything. So, maybe its ok.
After reading these blogs, I didn't waste my time calling back. I need a job, not bogus chit chat, investment schemes or more education. I viewed the Employment Select website and it is anorexic at best. The only positive I leave with is that I found this blog site and recorded this message.
All the "verification specialists" are work at home employees. The only reason you need to be in front of the computer is so they can scam you into furthuring ur education or trying to get you to buy some work at home program. The employees work strictly on commission so that explains why they get vulgar with you or try to rush you off the phone if ur not intrested in doing what they want. With the economy the way who wants to spend money? Why waste peoples time..If you get a message dont bother to call back, not worth it, you won't get the so called "job" they are hiring for.
