Uses the grandchild scam to scare elderly into getting money wired to get out of jail or for medical fees. convinces elderly to not tell the actual parent as wished by grandchild. Used voice that sounded very much like grandchild to convince the elderly. requests moneygram/western union delivery. Court appointed attorney also convincing to elderly.
Called claims to be grandchild and has the correct name. Grandchild has been in a car accident. Sounds very much like grandchild (perhaps heard voice on social media?) and needs money for bail bond. Phone passed off to "public defender".
