How come when I click on the web address www.okfop.com it says, "This domain is available for sale or lease? Yeah, you're full of B.S. There is no questions answered on there at all.
This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the Oklahoma State Fraternal Order of Police. I have called the number. It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there’s information on www.okfop.com, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.
The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for Oklahoma police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.
Follow up. by the way the message posted by "snow" on 31 Mar 2010, seems to be a fake message posted by the telemarketer. They give wrong information in the message and when you go to the Oklahoma FOP website, there is no news about fundraising efforts as "snow" suggests. It seems to me that the message from "snow" is just a scam/trick/planted message to try and fool possible donors.
You are wrong. All they are doing is telemarketing and begging for money. I am on Disability and they call me all the time asking for money. I have told them over and over that I don't even make enough money to live on and they are wanting my money. I have asked them to please stop calling and they keep it up anyway. Last week when they called me for the umpteenth time and asked me if I could give some money, I said, "No I can't. Can you give me some?" He got off of the phone pretty quick. I'm sorry. I am not usually rude to people but I am sick and tired of this place calling me.
