Received a call from 405-338-1168. When I called back they answered IRS - I then asked since when does the IRS leave phone messages? The caller replied with a string of vulgar langauge. I hung up and entered the information on the IRS Scam website and the FTC website. Good luck to theses scumbags....don't call them back they are phishing for your $$$$
I got the same number with the exact same message. I figured it was a scam becasue I got audited by the IRS once, and I received notification of it by mail. Plus, it would never be a lawsuit, just an audit. And they never call people! I hope some innocent elderly person does not fall for this.
