So tired of these phishing calls, who mask their CID in order to appear local.  These are automated messages and NOT a real person; you can interrupt their "You recently stayed at our resort..." spiel by asking, "What is your name?" ... this prompts the robot to say, "I'm sorry, I didn't understand that" and it restarts the message.  Do not call registry is useless, so is TCPA.

With that logic, you can argue that STOP signs are useless and traffic lights are useless.
Criminals ignore the laws.
The Do Not Call registry is just a list of phone numbers. It has no names associated with the numbers.
The TCPA is a law. It can only be enforced if you report evidence. No report, no investigation, thus no enforcement.

called no message, thanks for the heads up, blocked the number.

I have reported it, as I do with all robot callers that repeatedly call my cell phone without my consent.  Thank you for your concern.
