Who called from 4053772769

Here's the message on voice mail. This is Jack Adams.  I need your help clearing up a business matter.  I will give you time to get a pen and paper.... *click*  I've received this message once a week for the last month

I continually got calls on my cell phone from these people, and since it is automated I could not tell them that they had the wrong number, and I didn't want to take the time to call them at the number they provided to sort out someone else's "business", especially since if someone would've been able to hear my voicemail they would have realized that I was not who they were looking for.  Eventually i called 4053772769 back and explained the matter too them.  They took me off their list and apologized saying my number was listed as their "clients" 4 years ago.  How will I ever stop getting these calls, if they can track down a number someone had 4 years ago why can't they figure out someone else has had it for over 1 year?!?

If anyone on here does get a lot of creditor calls I think it's unfair to change your number and not leave a forwarding address or number, I've received tons of these calls for the past year, when will they stop?

I had the same as Karen, I told them not to call again and they have not since March

I got the exact same thing. Apparently its for bounced checks, places like Git N Gallup use this instead of going through the DA's office.
