Iprox rewards redemption...took me 20 mins and 7 representatives before they would tell me who they were...call and say you have been rewarded with a 100 dollar gift card,,,but want personal info and credit/debit card number and wont even tell you who they are with or what it is concerning...even claim they didn't call me...funny I returned the call from my caller i.d.
Sure sounds like a scam!!! BEWARE
Because it is a scam. If you 'won' something, why do they need your banking, or credit card info? You won it, it's free, isn't it? Well, no it isn't. It's a well know 419 Nigerian scam. They will either (a) Steal every dime out of your bank account, or (b) Max out your credit card. Remember: ANY request for an advance fee, or personal information on a prize, lottery, Government Grant, gift, loan, etc. IS A SCAM. Advance fee scams are very well known Nigerian 419 scams.
