Caller ID just says Shawnee OK. They did not say who they were in the message but it's a collection agency trying to sound lawyerly. The message on my machine: "I need to inform you of a complaint of malicious intent to defraud and two counts of alleged check fraud that's been filed against you. We will be making a recommendation to the clerk's office for a possible stay of execution. To avoid these claims you need to contact the office within 24 hours at 866-402-4043 and refer to affidavit # ----."
Note they said "clerk's office", not court or court clerk. And why are they making a recommendation for a stay of execution? According to Wickipedia, that means "a court order to temporarily suspend the execution of a court judgment or other court order". So that's not really a threat.
I assume this is for an old payday loan. My finances have been in good order for a year now, thanks to my finally getting out from under those. I've been ignoring these types of calls and will continue to do so.
I have received several calls from this number over the last few weeks. Sometimes it is a recording that says I need to have my attorney call them and other times its a person asking for someone I don't even know. When I explain to them they have the wrong number they become rude and tell me they don't know what I want them to do about it. What I want them to do is STOP calling me.

Receive several calls from them daily. Today they actually left a msg that they r investigatin fraud activity n question my ssn n bank info. When i called the # back that was provided it goes to a collection agency. I pushed 0 for an operator n nobody ever answered so i hung up. Wish theyd quit callin me!
These rude dumb@$$ people called me. left a voice mail saying they were with court clerk office and I need to get an attorney. So I called them back asked them what this was about and they told me a name that gave my office number as contact. That I need to get a hold of this person or I am going to have to settle matter in court. How stupid are they i dont even know person. I think I need to sue them. I hope they leave another message..
