I've been a victim of debit/mastercard theft in December 09 after just receiving this text. I didnt even call the number!  Just got this text on the 8th, and of course didn't call number, but my regular mastercard was discovered to be compromised the same day!

I, too, received the same text message.  If the idiotic message wasn't a big enough clue, the idiots aren't even smart enough to realize that the first numbers of a credit card are the same on nillions of cards, so offering those numbers is no identifier.  Companies always identify your card by using the LAST numbers.

Living in Oklahoma, I'll notify the AG and other agencies as well as the phone company involved.  405 is an Oklahoma area code.  The number may be re-routed from another location, but our state authorities can investigate.

I also got a message from them today with an email [email protected]. I did not respond I have no checking or savings, nor do I have any credit card, prepaid debits or ANYTHING of this nature. My concern is I got another text from a fast cash type of place last week. Is there a way to verify if my id was stolen? They can not take any of my money as I have no accounts what-so-ever.....but can they get to my ssn?? and other info??

I just received a similar text message, but with a different phone number attached - sure its still the scam.
this is how it reads:
"[email protected]:  /A chi eve Ca rd 530088XX Fro zen. Con tact: 435 256 6652"

I reverse looked up the number and it said it was based out of sandy UT area.  don't know anybody there or have this type of card....

Exactly... Hope it is a scam!
